Jed Madela

John Edward Tajanlangit , better known by his stage name, Jed Madela, is a Filipino recording artist and TV host. He became the first Filipino to win the WCOPA world grand champion title, and is known with a uniquely wide vocal range.

Madela was born in Iloilo, Philippines, the son of JC Roy Tajanlangit, a church choirmaster, and Agnes Tajanlangit, an Administrative Assistant at Pepsi. He is the elder brother of Eric Tajanlangit and Joanne Christine Tajanlangit.
